Thali House

I really love their food , it’s so tasty and they don’t use canola oil which is rare with Indian food . That’s why I come to this place all the way from zug . And the service is really really amazing . They are super friendly and once or twice even helped me to carry all the food to my car which was really nice of them . Highly recommend .

The food was very tasty, flavourful and adequate. We ordered basic thalis which came with rice and two side dishes based on veg or non- veg preference. The composition, taste and quantity was very good. Would recommend.

Absolutely loved it – so much that we came back again! We had the veg thali and it was simply amazing – full of flavor, fresh, and so satisfying. The staff here is incredibly warm, helpful, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you're craving authentic Indian food in Zurich, Thali House is a must-visit!

We just had the most amazing thali at The Thali House! It truly felt like eating at home—the flavors were simple, balanced, and comforting. No spice was overpowering, just the perfect blend that let each dish shine. Our thali came with tadka daal, mixed vegetables, palak paneer, rice, raita, naan, and pickle, and the delightful surprise was the addition of fresh homemade butter. The homemade chai (tea) at the end made it all come together in the best way possible. We have been traveling for the past 15 days through Greece and Italy and had been in Zurich for 2 days, and were really craving for some authentic North Indian food. The Thali offered exactly that! What made the experience extra special was the warmth of the delightful hostess, Sarbjit, who served us with so much love and care. A truly memorable meal!

They serve Halal chicken here. Do request for meals with that meat only as their lamb is non-halal. My father in law really liked their fish dish.. fish madras, he still talked about it for days after haha a regular nice and delicious Indian cuisine food. Thank you for the food served! Really appreciate it!

The food was sooo good and authentic Indian food. The owner is super friendly and makes everyone in the restaurant feel welcomed. I'm a vegetarian and they have many vegetarian options! I got the vegetarian Thali with garlic Naan, soo good.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have eaten at anywhere in the world! The Vegetarian Thali was absolutely wonderful, with every component tasting incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned, exactly like authentic home cooking. The Garlic Naan was perfection—soft yet crisp, with the garlic at the right, pleasant level. The flavors stay true to real Indian cuisine. Prices are entirely reasonable for Zurich, offering excellent value for money. Highly recommend this spot for a genuinely flavorful and authentic Indian meal. I will definitely be back.

They served halal chicken, the prawn masala delicious. We ordered chicken tika masala too. Order take away plain rice n chicken masala for dinner to bring back to hotel n heat up. The indian chai delicious too taste near to teh tarik in ???????? .
